Kim Flowers (Ideal Lifestyle Coach)
I am a native of Olympia and with my B.A. in English from Santa Clara University. I became a full-time mom in 2008, and eventually years of fast-food, sugar addiction, and a sedentary lifestyle caught up with me when my scale could no longer register my weight. After struggling to lose the weight on my own, I sought the help of Ideal Protein at Tumwater Chiropractic in October 2015, and by August 2016 I had lost more than 100 pounds and felt better than ever! I am enthusiastic about sharing this program with anyone who wants to achieve their goals and feel amazing. I believe that Ideal Protein is more than a "diet;" it leads to an overall lifestyle of health.

I have been with Ideal Lifestyle Center since December of 2017. I graduated from The Evergreen State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016 with my focus in Trade and Sustainable Agriculture. During my time in college I spent time studying food in farming, culture, and the growing desire for healthful varieties in today’s marketplace. After putting on some weight in college (trying so many delicious foods all the time for class), I signed up to do Ideal Protein with my mom. With more energy and enthusiasm than before, I hope to share what I’ve learned about food in correlation to increased energy and overall well-being and apply it to the long-term, measured results of Ideal Protein.

After being diagnosed with an auto immune disease in 2013, being obese & having to take 9 medications a day just to be able to get out of bed, I decided that I needed to make a drastic change & opted for bariatric surgery in 2016.I lost 130lbs in a short amount of time & was able to keep most of it off for the last 2 years. I tried to adopt a healthy eating style but old habits started to creep back in. I am a massage therapist & began to really pay attention to the progress our patients were making while being on Ideal Protein. I learned that it was more than just a weight loss diet, it was a lifestyle change. I love being able to teach & encourage others a healthy way to live.

I graduated 2016 with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary/Middle School Education. I tried other diets in the past to prepare for my wedding and different events but gave up on them quickly do to not seeing the results I wanted. I started Ideal protein in January of 2018 after I saw myself in a bridesmaid dress that didn't fit quite right and with a wedding quickly approaching. I never thought that it would help me with the pain disease I have in my legs. My feet and legs were constantly swollen and I would have nerves misfiring all the time. It got to the point where I had given up hope on trying to get it into remission. I lost 45 pounds of body fat and gained some muscle along the way, and I am happy to say that I am almost pain free! I had no idea my ideal life was right around the corner, or that it was achievable! Now, with my success and testimony, I want to help others gain access to their ideal selves.
